T – Place Where I Wannabe (Oct. 27th)

After 2 years of hosting Melbourne’s hip-hop video magazine The Burning Underground and gaining local praise for his group 27 Politics, the single letter emcee aptly named T is set to take centre stage for his solo debut.

Titled The Place Where I Wannabe, T takes listeners on a sound scaped journey though 7 songs and collaborates with close friends along the way.
While maintaining his aggressive delivery we do see a more conscious and politically aware T and this is no more apparent then on Money Women Power Greed, whereby fellow MC’s Vishus and Gzutek appear to speak their minds on the titles topic.

However, it’s at this point where real life takes a backseat and a surreal realm starts to seep though.
Doc Felix delivers us a warm blend of cuts though-out the release and additional vocals by Mz. Wood & Grinny only help but accentuate the unique sound.

From start to finish production is handled entirely by multi-talented Mr Boomkat and his left field approach to crafting beats leaves us with a funk driven boom bap musical.
