Elapsed Time – Campfire Epoch

Spiralling out of his hometown of Adelaide, Elapsed Time (also known as E.T) is making a big name for himself as a talented emcee, producer, musician, songwriter and performer.

Lachlan Emes (Elapsed Time) began producing his own music at 15, when he started making appearances on Radio Adelaide’s Hip Hop Show. Elapsed Time’s dedication to his music was recognised in 2011, when he topped triple j’s Unearthed Charts and was nominated for an award by The South Australian Tourism Commission for his song Adelaide On Top.

Shortly after in 2012, Elapsed Time was awarded with an Arts SA/APRA grant to attend the Sydney Song Summit, which involved intimate workshops with mentors such as Jonathan Notley (Bliss N Eso), Tim Levinson (Urthboy), Peter Wadams (P-Money) & Kev Carmody.

Elapsed Time’s debut EP Campfire Epoch will drop in 2012 and showcase a variety of Hip Hop from easy listening, to some hard hitting beats that always manage to get the crowd jumping. With Interviews and frequent airplay on Adelaide’s Fresh FM, and National Airplay on triple j’s Unearthed Digital Radio Network, keep an ear out for Elapsed Time as he climbs his way through the ranks of the Australian Music Industry.

Elapsed Time’s debut EP Campfire Epoch is available now.
