More than just a new fashion label, Guerrilla Theatre Brand is the latest Melbourne-born,globally connected brand on the block. Connecting with cultural creatives all over the world, the brand is amped to announce its social launch and debut collection.
The Guerrilla Theatre Brand philosophy is one inspired by great music, parties and the street, with design values taking cues from all things youth culture, story telling and old-school comics. Designed and printed in Australia each Guerrilla Theatre Brand piece has a tale to tell. The Americana-meets-street-aesthetic launch collection is an edit of everyday essentials delivered in monochrome, denim washes and original prints. Tees, tanks and dresses emblazoned with unique imagery show the brand is anything but straight laced, and not for the faint hearted.
The label has kicked off its first-of-many collaborative projects, teaming up with Melbourne-based fashion photographer Peter Coulson and Aussie skate legend Renton Millar. Showcasing a solid respect for innovation and originality with creativity and collaboration at its core, the brand is set to grow into a community of like-minded artists, musicians and adrenalin junkies.
To celebrate the launch collection, Guerilla Theatre Brand threw an invite only party. Thursday April 3rd, the Guerrilla Theatre Brand launched and featured live video streaming and performances by triple j regulars Jackie Onassis, festival-favorite DJ Prequel, Melbourne icon DJ Flagrant and more. Prices range from $30-$180. The collection so far includes some super dope tees, pants and jackets, with pieces available for both male and females.
