Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, 23 year old concept rapper Baskiat (who also plays sax and produces his own beats) joins forces with emcee Juju to release a brand new remix tack of Mr Carmacks Throw Your Chains Off.
In 2012 Baskiat released his first single “Wisdom,” co-produced by Flume, to a great reception online and rotation on triple j. Since then he has expanded as an artist, performing regularly throughout Sydney as both a solo act and with Golden Island Collective, consisting of Decypher Us, Nonne MC AND 316.
Recently Baskiat teamed up with Australian Hip Hop pioneer DJ A$K and the aforementioned artists for several upcoming projects scheduled for release throughout 2015. Check it.
