With help from producer One Above, Phatchance flips Gotye in to a smooth hip hop track whilst paying homage in the same breath. February saw solo artists Phatchance and Coptic Soldier reach capacity three weeks running at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory as they launched their acoustic Hip-Hop EPs. The residency followed the release of both their lead singles that are currently receiving regular spot play on Triple J.
