Jump online and check out the brand new Hilltop Hoods website. It’s been some time in the making, but April77 Creative has created a truly unique site. Find all the usual, news, info, lyrics. We also see some cool iPhone skins, wallpapers and a dump site. We also finally see some movement on the Golden Era Records website. STATE OF THE ART – GOLD(en Era)

In its first week of release, State Of The Art, by the Hilltop Hoods has gone gold, selling 35000 or more units. State Of The Art has rocketed to the top of the ARIA charts, relegating The E.N.D. – Black Eyed Peas to second spot and Pink – Funhouse to 3rd. Bliss N Eso will contend for Urban Work of the year at tonight’s APRA awards. The lads have been nominated for their songs, Woodstock 2008 and The Sea Is Rising. ILLY – Props and album launch

   You may have already seen this as Obese Records posted it on their Twitter account. It seems Illy’s new album, Long Story Short, has been well received by the aussie hip hop public and for quite a good reason. The album is banger, The Mercury Newspaper did a review, which you check out here. TripleJDools also gave it the thumbs up, could we see Scott Dooley return to the mike for another guest apperance? James Hartley and Delta

I wasn’t able to find much info on the man himself, but James Hartley surely lets his pictures speak for themselves. Hartley has had the pleasure of working with many groups by the looks of his blog, but we’re interested in none other than the ‘Lostralian’ Delta. Well done to the guys, a great effort. On the weekend of the release of their highly anticipated Flying Colours Live deluxe edition, the original version of the Sydney trio’s hugely acclaimed third album has gone GOLD after 58 weeks in the ARIA charts. It’s been 4 years now since Lazy Grey’s last album Banned In Queensland.
