DJ Butcher (born Alexander Steffan – 31/10/1987) is a long-time producer hailing from Beenleigh in Queensland Australia. Starting his hip hop career in 2000 in his parents garage freestyling with the likes of Toddy Montana and Truths he quickly equipped himself with a set of turntables, a computer and a stack of records. Here we have two little gems that were discovered recently (for some). Both The Funkoars and The Hilltop Hoods have put hidden tracks in their CD’s for all to find. To find these tracks, all you need is an old CD player that you can rewind from track 1. Otherwise you can just check them out below. The first track comes from the Hilltop Hoods titled, Ya Feel Big, appearing on The Hard Road Deluxe edition. Hoods and Funkoars at Clipsal 500

Hilltop Hoods have answered the call and will headline a 2010 Clipsal 500 concert held in Adelaide. The Adelaide trio will be the main attraction at Clipsal’s March 12 show, supported by Golden Era stable mates,  The Funkoars and fellow Adelaidian’s, Lowrider. The Hoods’ popularity has meant they were always unavailable to perform when contacted by Clipsal organisers in previous years. “It’s a pretty big event in Adelaide and to be the headline act is awesome,” said Daniel Smith, aka MC Pressure. We seen a little screen cap preview the other day, but here it is in all it’s glory, the brand spankin new, The Light You Burned film clip featuring our good mate Trials (Funkoars). According to Facebook posts, the animated clip was inspired by cartoons of old, especially the works of Hanna-Barbera. This year the category of Engineer of the Year rounded out with two equal winners who worked with very different genres of music. Hilltop Hoods member, DJ Debris (Barry Francis) has been recognised for his work on State Of The Art, the follow up to the Hilltop Hoods 2006 ARIA Award winning album, The Hard Road.
